  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Ok-I was sitting at a red light and could see an Equus in my side view mirror. This Equus was in a left hand turn lane and when the light turned green, it drove by me.

Lo and behold, it was a 2014 with a drive out tag and the new rims (which is why I noticed it was a 2014) and it had daytime running lights (unlike my 2014)

As another poster suggested, perhaps it is something that can be turned on or off by the dealer...if thats the case, do I want them? Thinking...

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Does anyone know a fuse to pull to kill the DRL's on the Genesis? I think they are too bright and detract from the exceptional appearance of the car.

Oops, didn't mean to post in an Equus discussion. Sorry.

Did you notice if the tail lights were on too? I use my parking lights as DRL's and actually like the tails on.
And are you sure those weren't Illinois tags? Got to Kennesaw late afternoon after 12 hour drive, too late to try and hook up.

Per our info we have received about the 2014 Equus... Im not sure why this wasnt something from the get-go. Hopefully this will be something we can "added" or "turned on" to ours.

High-Intensity Discharge (HID) Xenon Low-Beam Headlights
• Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFLS): Headlights follow the driver’s steering input, rotating with the vehicle’s turning angle
so that upcoming curves and intersections receive maximum illumination in the direction of travel.
Note: System defaults to on when headlights are in the AUTO position.
• Automatic headlight leveling system: Keeps headlight beam parallel to the road.
• High-beam headlights are halogen.
• Daytime Running Lights are standard (daytime lights utilize the high beams, not the low beams, to be illuminated during the day).Note: Daytime Running Lights will be added as a running change.• New for 2014: Equus has new LED fog lights, new front bumper facia and grille design.
• Revised sideview mirrors include LED turn signal indicators that improve visibility night and day.

No worries, BTHBC. Hope you have safe travels....

I saw the thread above about the DRL,s, isn't that something. Honestly I don't know if I'll get them turned on or not
