  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Okay - this is a rather silly question, but I have to ask:

Those of you that have gotten your Coupes, did yours come with a cigarette lighter? Mine just has the empty socket (the one under the cover along with the key slot), and although I don't smoke, I wonder if my dealer forgot a plastic plug or something.

Just wondering...

Thanks for the replies, guys.

I realize that cigarette lighters (as well as ashtrays) are becoming less common in cars these days - many car companies now have a "smoker's package" option for people that still want an ashtray/lighter. Indeed, what was once known as a "cigarette lighter" is now often referred to by car makers as a "power port" or something. Times change...

It just looked a bit odd to have the lighter socket without a lighter in it. I guess it does save Hyundai a few pennies on each car by not putting something in the socket that the customer will just remove anyways.

Even though I have to go into a local dealership to see if my father's wheelchair fits in the trunk...

Can anyone tell me when and I know it is scheduled to be an option for the 2010 Genesis Coupe- but approximately what month or can I order it with it now- will
Navigation System be available?

I am in the Los Angeles area.

Derek Joyce, Product Manager for Genesis Coupe, says look for the Navi in May time frame.

Thanks ConceptVBS.

I guess that could mean if the wheelchair fits- I can probably order a Navi car ASAP- since it will take probably at least a month plus to get here in LA- even though the cars arrive here in the Port of LA first anyways.

You can't really order it, but you can sign a sales agreement with your dealer for a model/options/color they know will be available from the distributor (HMA).
