  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Does anyone know if there is a dummy cover for the fog lights on a 2009 Genesis ( BASE MODEL ), i have the V8 4.6 Genesis & would like to remove my fog lights and replace the opening with a dummy cover so that i can install LED daytime running lights

Why not just wire-up the fog lights to be your DRLs if that's where they'd be located anyway? You're also obviously intending to wire them hot full-time too, so no diff there either. It would also be easier to undo someday, should a need arise.

FWIW, cars with blank panels where fog lights should go appear to me as obviously lower-end versions of a given model. And a "modded" blank panel would appear similarly I think, but more like the owner added something that did not come with the car.
There are cheezy mods, and there are tasteful mods. One's cheap, the other's not, and both are obvious.
