  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

This post is rejected because it contains no exclamation points.

I know someone that installed this in their coupe and they were very pleased with the results.

I installed a sound dampening kit in my Sonata, and I was pleased with the results. Not dramatic, but a noticable difference..

$190 with shipping included.

I'm planning on installing the kit in my wifes Optima next year.

Discription: DIY Soundproof Kit includes soundproof pads for the hood, front doors, rear doors, trunk hatch, and trunk floor, a total of 7 pieces.

Soundproof pads for the front and rear fender liners are also available as an option. Choose the combination you want from the dropdown menu below.

Handmade, specifically for each application, each pad is made of lightweight PP and PET microfibers, which will absorb sound and vibrations with ease, while adding minimal weight to the car, unlike soundproof mats made with heavy butyl.

The pads can be applied using spray adhesive, and are easy to install because they are made specifically for each application with holes for pins and wiring already precut.

I think adding material to the uncovered body from underneath is not an exceptional thought. That kept in touch with, you can add sound stifling to the underside of bumpers where it is secured by the internal bumpers. This will help stifle tire commotion.

Tire commotion can be very annoying. Stifling it is commendable.

I still enjoy reading the title of this thread - "Have any one did that?" Good old Cobra, whatever became of that lad?
