  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Tomorrow I'm putting the sedan on a dyno 100% stock! Hyundai says 333hp and 291tq but I'll give my results as to what's at the wheels just for fun!

Ha I'm not running anything so doubt the power I've got will be hard to handle! It's just for curiosity and to support a local drag team!

Well to the wheels I ran 263hp and 247tq! Now unfortunately I'll have more loss because of the ram air not receiving enough air being stationary but those numbers are very in line with what Hyundai quotes!

Cool beans. About a 20% drive-train loss for HP and 15% for torque. I'd say that's acceptable for a RWD automatic. I was holding my breath that you were going to get in the 230's to wheels. This is reassuring to me.

I believe you're the first GDI sedan dyno I've seen. What were your weather conditions? I want to give this a go at my local shop to see if the amount I spent on CBE, cat deletes and intakes was worth it. Hoping to pick up at least 5% vs stock.

Can you please share your final curves? It would be interesting to see the low rpm torque and compare with the 2015 GDI, which Hyundai claims to have improved a lot.
