  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

It's really annoying to have to press the drive mode button every time I start the car, so I was wondering if there's any real benefit to turning on eco mode.

Slight. I think your could get similar with normal mode if you drive with a light foot

I use ECO mode a lot with my 5.0 and average 20.5 mpg back and forth to work on a daily basis. I take city roads to work and a mixed city/highway driving on the way home. I put it in Sport mode at red light hole shots and on/off ramps on the highway or whenever I need that little extra power. Note that there is still plenty of power in the ECO mode.

Here is link to a study I did regarding using Super Unleaded which also discusses the ECO mode.
