We have a Genesis dealership at the Outlet Mall just south of the city and that's where I bought my GV70 - different experience but overall a good one! They service their vehicles through Southtown Hyundai in Edmonton - which is not such a good experience, but they are providing full concierge pick-up, loaner services here! They respond quickly to my questions, available by phone or email. I found I had the typical rear differential whine in my GV70 after only 1,200 KM and they came and picked up my vehicle, left a GV80 loaner 2 days later and confirmed that I needed a new rear diff (expect a recall soon on this). They ordered a new one, calmed me down and said it would only take a couple of weeks to get it in and then 2-3 hours to replace it and would pick up my vehicle from work or home, no problem.
They have provided the promised service experience - which is more than I can say for most dealerships based on what I've seen here!
They will also be opening a brand new dealership that has two new store fronts - one for Genesis and the other end of the building for Hyundai, with a shared service centre between the two. That will be opening in Spring, 2023.
