Electric GV70

Last week I was sitting at a traffic light next to a Range Rover. I was on the left lane, and as soon as the light turned green, I started to move a bit fast so I could go to the right to make a right turn at the next signal light, but the RR driver started to speed up and not wanted to change lane. I quickly put in the sport mode and left him in the dust . I'm sure he was surprised. It wouldn't happen if I were driving Tesla or another EV that disclosed the vehicle's identity. lol

Does Alberta have an EV sticker that allows you to drive in the HOV lane even if you don't have any passengers? We have them in BC and I dutifully put one on my car, but now I kinda regret it because it makes it obvious that it's an EV.

No such thing as a HOV lanes in Alberta.

Ironically, when I was at the dealer earlier, another Uyuni White eGV70 was awaiting delivery too!

Both beautiful colors, I really like a white with a pearl effect in it, even at night the lights shine differently on it.

Makalu Grey Matte is just fascinating to look at, not just because of how light refracts on it but also due to the fact that they did include metallic flakes in it that sparkle in the sun.

Thanks! Looking at it more closely this morning, I've come to realize it's not really matte, but more satin. Totally fine by me, but just interesting to note that observation. Have to get moving on ordering some Dr. Beasley products.

Thanks! Aside from having bird poop anxiety, it's kinda cool to have a matte-ish paint vehicle. I hadn't seen a matte GV70 in person before ordering mine but everything turned out as good if not better than expected.

Don't know if this has been mentioned here or not, but WeatherTech now has mats and trunk liner for our cars. Ordered the trunk liner, but I'm waiting on Tuxmat for the floor liners.

I noticed the last couple of times that it charges 1% less than the set charge setting. For example, if I put the car to charge 90%. It shows 89% after completing the charge. The same thing happened when I set it to charge 80%. I ended up with a 79% charge.

There’s a long, complex, technically dense answer to your question, but as a 5-year EV owner my best advice is not to worry about it.

Also note: one day you may discover that car displays a HIGHER state of charge than whatever limit you set.

I don't believe so. In fact, of all the blind spot-related warnings, the cameras are the ones I rely on least. Not sure if others feel the same.
