Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message

I removed mirror to attempt to install exterior auto dimming mirror....need to run a couple wires I believe (hope)....after re-installing original mirror it no longer tilts or sways....I can hear electric motor clicking....all else works fine on either mirror....I cannot find anything re this and am wondering if someone knows whether or not I could have dis-engaged motor from gears when removing and if so is there any way to reset?
