  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have a 2013 genesis 5.0 rspec and I have been having some weird eletrical experiences.

So first off, my front bumper sensors would randomly start blinking and saying there’s somthing in from of me when I would slow down when coming to a stop light or something and it rarely happens but it would happen for the whole drive.
Then sometimes I won’t be able to run my windows down for a couple of try’s with the window button. Then it would start working.
Yesterday my infotainment screen blinked and cutt off completely and restarted while driving.

And today I was driving to work and I turned the fan speed up for my ac blower and it said in the screen that it was at max fan speed but nothing was coming out. I then when into the climate control settings and tried it there and after a couple times it started working.

I know this sounds like a whole bundle of random problems but somethings telling me it’s got to be something with the communication.
Please give any info that you think would help!

I had problems with my backup sensor going off all of the time when backing, even though there was nothing there. After watching a youtube video, I found that the sensors were 'stuck' and a shot of WD-40 on each one made them work normally again.
I also had my infotainment screen not come up after starting the car sometimes. I went to the fuse panel (near the passenger door) and pulled out the fuse. It was good, but since I put it back in haven't had any trouble. Figuring that after 10+ years maybe the fuse connections aren't the best, I went through both fuse boxes, pulling out and pushing in every fuse, just in case.
Don't know if that's your problem, but maybe it'll help.

Thanks for you reply. Iv had someone tell me it could be corrosion in my fuse box and and that could cause most of the problems so il try that out and see how that works. But did you say you sprayed WD-40 directly on the sensors on the bumper?
