Electronic steering system reset???

I just had alignment work done on my '11 sedan and found billing for this item. Reset or rip-off? My first encounter with electric steering.

I think we will need more information on this. Do you mean to say that they charged you for an electronic steering reset on your invoice?

Yep. As stated; billed for this item. I can't find any mention of this feature in search. Appointment at garage tomorrow as steering feels a little "jittery" and centered steering wheel is starting to move off-center. When I purchased the car the steering wheel was cocked a little to the left, hence the alignment purchase. Now the car feels as though it needs constant attention at the wheel and the wheel is not centered as it was when I left the garage.

I thought that V6 Genesis didn't get electric steering assist until 2014.

Our cars DO have electric steering systems- dealer says so. I had the shop go through the alignment again and now I'll wait to see if the steering wheel starts to rotate off center again.
