ENGINE SWAP FOR 2013 2.0T Genesis

I need help finding an engine for my 2013 Genesis 2.0t I was wondering maybe I can fit an older year but I’m not sure. My engine currently has a cracked head I believe with mixed coolant and oil and white smoke coming out the exhaust.

Could your issue be a head gasket failure rather than a cracked block? How have you diagnosed the issues?

I took it to a shop, mechanic told me that the head is cracked because I’m getting a misfire in cylinder 3 & 2, I’m idling rough, he said in the 3rd cylinder once it goes to operating temp coolants starts to spit out of that cylinder without the spark plug boot in it

the 2012 2.0 engine has a single scroll turbo vs the 2013 which came with a twin scroll. Besides that I believe the engines are the same, but you really wouldnt want the much inferior 2010-2012 engine set up. The 2013 one has soooo much more power with that twin scroll
