Hello
I'm brand new to the forum and brand new to the Hyundai line. I just bought a 2011 Equus used. I am completely amazed at the value in these cars - I've had everything from American to German and this thing is really an impressive machine - especially for the $$$. I did find however that my radar detector alerts constantly when in this car. Out here in Nevada there are many empty roads for 500 miles where I like to go 75 or 80 and the NHP will often pull you over for that. The detector has a signal strength meter on it so I walked around the car and found the radar signal is coming from the deck behind the rear seats - where the two speakers are. Any idea what could be generating a strong radar signal there? I walked around back of the car and held it around the bumper and trunk and it was much weaker. Definitely strongest when I climb in the back seat and hold it back near the rear window. Ideas anyone?
Thanks very much in advance to everyone for any help or assistance.
