  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Anyone that has successfully completed this have any advice?

I did wonder - how does one go about replacing a strut/shock if/when they go bad? Where do you go to buy new struts? I'm getting the kit from Strutmasters which also has the warning light fix...but I don't see where you're able to order replacement parts. Am I missing something?

I had the one from Strutmasters but no warning light fix was offered. Is this something new?

I did it about 18 months ago. Can't really complain about the ride or quality but when I did it the warning light was on and I hated that. I recently converted back to the air suspension because I plan on selling in a few months. I replaced both rear air bags but one went bad within a week. Had it replaced and I am fighting the company for a refund. Nice not seeing the light on but hope it was worth it. I have the conversion set from Strutmasters that I will be listing in a month or 2 after I sell the car.

I guess it is but I can confirm. I got the strutmasters conversion kit with the warning light module. Have it successfully installed and just like everyone says...no major difference in how it rides. I will say that the back portion of the vehicle is a little lower than I would like.

However, I didn't know I would loose my drive modes! (normal, sport, snow) I wonder if there is a way to get this back?

Guess the light mudule messed with the modes because although my light was on the modes still work which is huge for me because sport is all I ever used.

Ahhhh... Yeah.. Maybe I can call strutmasters and ask
