  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Good afternoon...can anyone verify if the 2013 Equus I have has a serviceable transmission filter in it to replace? I have what I believe is a Carquest gasket and filter that is supposed to fit...but I have also been told these are "non-serviceable" transmissions. So...I can easily change the fluid and I know and see where to do that...but I do not want to open up the pan if there is not a transmission filter inside to even replace.
Thank you,
Brian

See I a, advising to do transmission flush at every 40K-50K miles at maximum with High quality oil like Amsoil and replacing transmission pan that's have filter.
Don't listen to anyone who said that Korean transmission is non-serviceable trust me I own most of Korean transmission types from 4-6-8 speed for front wheel drive and 8-speed for rear wheel drive I always change transmission fluid at 40K miles, I can tell you the transmission working smoothly after 10 years
