Got my wine stopper in yesterdays mail!

I'm in marketing myself and thought it was attractive and elegantly presented.

The comparison between the wines of Johnny-come-lately California to the presumed grand master wines of France, where the wines of California were the winners drives a point home with me (especially since I have enjoyed many wines in both of those places! )
in that no one ever expected poor little Hyundai to ever be capable of rising to such a level.

Anyhow, I love the look of the Equus, but it is beyond my needs.

If I was a small upstart company needing to chauffeur some big shots around town, and could not afford a limo, then I'd definitely be interested.

Seems to me to be a big waste: Sending the small wine stopper in a big box wrapped in plastic. If Hyundai wanted to send it, the stopper could have been sent in a bubble-pack envelope. It is time for everyone to start thinking about the excess waste we needlessly create.

Small thoughts to be sure. Because if we think about it TOO much it would be hard to justify the Gen over the Sonata hybrid.

You can always just write return to sender on the box and send it back! I am sure someone at the Post Office would like to have a wine stopper!

I received my wine stopper today and it included-
five one hundred dollar bills,
A plane ticket to NYC for two,
Front row center seats at the Hyundai Theatre featuring the Stones, the Doors and Frank Sinatra. (He is not really dead)
Two tickets to the 2011 Master Golf tournament and a practice round and date with Natalie Gulbis--
and a face lift for two at the Trump Plaza.

If you didn't get this package then you probably don't qualify as a Hyundai

I don't think that i "wine" or even that I whine about the issue.
Though on second thought, given what the gift is, maybe the term to use would be "wine."

I thought the wine stopper which was accompanied with the results of the wine competition where US wines slam dunked the French wines was Marketing genius. I really like my 09 Genesis and when I bought it I paid for the bumper to bumper warranty, planning on driving it until it dies. When I was in college I drove a 71 Toyota, my fiancee (now wife of 33 years) drove a Datsun B210 because we were poor students back then. Look what Lexus (Toyota) and Infiniti (Datsun) sell now. I think we who drive the Genesis for the most part know what a smart decision we made. Money is an object for me. I love the deal I got with my Genesis. I don't rebadge it b/c the lazy H is an "in your face" for my friends who drive BMWs, Mercedes, and Lexus. BTW, the invaders from Outer Space in the worst movie ever made, Plan 9 From Outer Space (Bela Lugosi's last movie, he died during production and Ed Wood replaced him with a man about 8" taller, but had him cover his face with his cape) came to Earth in a Hyundai and were so proud, wore the logo on their spacesuits!

By the way, I really appreciate this forum and the thoughtful people who participate. Thanks to everybody.
