  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have been looking for a good price on a new 4.6 with Tech package and they are getting hard to find around where I live.(200 miles). The best I can do so far is a Black 4.6 with Tech package and 1500 miles on it for $39,995.00. I dont want Black.

Any ideas as to when the 2011'a will be in showrooms?

I can't answer your question about the 2011s but just wanted to let you know that I was able to get a 2010 V8 w/tech for $37,680 through Hyundai Circle and $1500 competitive vehicle rebate. Not sure where you are located but the rebate is good here in TX and a few other states.

Good luck with your search and finding an answer to your question.

Like CK2118 said, that's far more than what brand new vehicles go for.
No official word on the '11 yet. Might as well wait a few more months to see what the changes are.

Hey Stoof

Check the local Costco to see if they are still running their promotion on the Genesis...

What is Hyundai Circle??

The 2011's will come out the day that I take delivery of mine:D

Promotion is good through the end of the month (June 30). http://www.costcoauto.com/hyundai/

Pricing is similar to the affiliate pricing plus the $500 gift card:
* Dealer Net Invoice
* Less 3% of Net MSRP
* Less Current Consumer Rebates (if any)
* Less $250 (Plan A Hyundai Circle Bonus)
* Plus Destination (Freight) and Advertising Fees

The key, however, is finding a dealer who participates in the program and who has stock (or willingness to sell) at that price. It's not Costco that sells the cars, and the deal will be between the buyer and dealer, meaning that buyers need to beware of dealer games (like add ons during F&I, low-balling trades, and so on).

I believe they are. Got an email from Costco a few days ago on the Genesis progam

What is Hyundai Circle??

You know I'm not exactly sure what Hyundai Circle is either but I believe its a program for employees and "special" friends of Hyundai. You have to have a PIN to sign up or like Dataguy said, have a Costco membership. I chose not to go with Costco (since I'm not a member) and just did a search on the forum to find the PIN. Registered online and membership was approved the next day. The great thing about the Circle website is that you enter the vehicle of your choice and your zip code, and the site will match you with participating dealers in your area that have the model/year/color/options you select. You pick the dealer and print off a coupon that has the "plan price" on it. Pricing is the same as the Costco deal except no gift card.

Now I'm not sure if the dealers are limited to charging no more than the "plan price" but the Genesis I picked already had tinted windows. Dealer told me it was a $300 dealer add-on, but in the end I didn't pay for it. To seal the deal I tried to get the dealer to waive the $35 labor charge for rebadging the trunk with the genesis emblem I purchased off of ebay but they refused the request and were willing to let me walk over $35. At that point, I knew I had gotten everything I could and signed my name...

I just returned from my dealer, got a 4.6 Tech, Cabernet with black leather. Used the Costco plan and everything went smoothly. $38235 plus TTL with no hassles. The best buying experience I have ever had and I have bought probably 40 cars over the last 43 years. And, the $500 cash card from Costco is in addition to that making the net cost $37735. I could not be happier. Costco plan ends 6/31/2010 so if you plan on getting one, pull the trigger now.

This is a very nice driving car. I am a recovering GM owner having gotten rid of a Saab Viggen, Pontiac GTO and GMC Envoy Denali in the last year to rid my garage of orphans. I looked at a CPO BMW because we have an E93 BMW convertible but to be honest I see much greater value, measurably better comfort, more features and somewhat better reliability in the Genesis, plus I was able to get exactly what I wanted with a new Genesis rather than taking what I could get with the used cars. Great package, I hope it doesn't let me down.
