  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

hello folks,
can you tell me how I can understand if my European Genesis which is fully loaded has an Air Suspension?
I'm changing drive modes but I can't feel any real difference in suspension configuration.

I am not sure there is a "European Genesis", but I did check the German Website and it has steel springs in Germany (where they only sell one model, a somewhat loaded 3.8L HTRAC with no options for 65,500 EUR), but they offer "electronic adaptive suspension" - not an air suspension though.

yes, this is mine as well. In Germany there is only the full loaded version.
In the European web of Hyundai they are talking about air suspension... In Germany they are talking about electronic adaptive suspension...
that can be the difference?

I don't think there is a difference between air suspension and electronic adaptive suspension for the 2015-2016 Genesis. It is an electronic adaptive air suspension.

If you can't tell the difference when you change suspension modes, then ask your dealer. Most Genesis owners with that feature can definitely tell the difference between modes. Same was true for all the professional auto reviewers, they definitely could tell a difference in modes.
