  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi all,
I'v genesis sedan model 2009 with b/w screen
I would like to change display screen to other one and connect it with front and rear cameras .. Is that possible ?

Probably, but I have not seen anyone here post that they have done it.

I have done this exact same type of upgrade on other cars, and it is very doable. The key is to identify the essential components and any wiring differences. There are a few online wiring diagram resources available to help with the potential wiring differences. You can get the upgraded parts from eBay or a salvage yard. In other projects I have done, it is actually pretty easy to pull the upgraded wiring harness from the donor car and install it into the project car. Then, it is just a matter of plug-and-play with the components.

Unavi makes a replacement screen with Nav for the 2009 Base/Premium Package (2009 Premium does not have Nav). I don't now for sure, but it may be able to handle a front and rear camera.

There are quite a few threads on this forum regarding this after-market unit. There are two versions of the one for the Genesis (original and recently updated one). I think they have a list of independent installers for these units.
