Hi,
I know we have had a discussion on this topic before but I needed some more help.
I have the 2015 5.0 model. A few weeks ago I decided I wanted to enjoy the sound of the V8. I went to an exhaust shop (to enquire about performance exhausts) and the guy showed me how the car sounded with muffler delete. I loved the sound !! It doesn't get crazy loud and there was drone only between 1800-2000 RPM ( but as I found out later, the drone is extremely annoying). My usual drive does not involve freeways or highways so I was able to 'adapt' to it, but I had to get on the highway once and at highway cruising speed, it's torture.
So I decided to take it back and get the electric cutouts. The shop looked and said that there's not really a good spot to put them on - low the clearance or too close to high heat.
I know some of you have it done, can you please put some pictures as to the location of those. Also, any alternate options for performance mufflers with dual outlets ( the shop guy said that there are dual outlet exhausts but they are not true dual ).
Thanks a lot in advance !!
