  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

This is a great dealership, totally worth the 5 hour drive each way. Gave me no BS price over the phone and stayed true to that price when I arrived. Defiantly worth considering if you are in the DC area. I would buy from them again in a heartbeat, all around better than any NJ dealer.

What model did you buy and with what options? What was the price paid (please include if that was with TTL or without).

Thanks!

I got a 2010 2.0T Silverstone Coupe with Track Package. The price before TTL was $26,000 - 1,000 (Lease Rebate) = $25,000

Didn't realize we had a dedicated "dealership experience" forum until I saw a few threads pop recently.

Concur w/JohnnyK on Fairfax Hyundai. Bought my Genny there back on Memorial Day (and bought my wife's Tucson there 3 years ago).

They were straight shooters and kept all the promises they made on the phone before I made the 2-hour drive over from Maryland. No add-ons, no surprises. Great experience all around.

I have not been back for service (too far to drive) but I get regular reminders via e-mail/snail-mail for both the Genny and Tucson (plus a birthday card each year). Dealer was great on post-purchase follow-up for both vehicles.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
When I was calling around on prices, this dealership gave me the best price on the car (thousands less than others) with $99 doc fees right of the bat - very straightforward to deal with, but I ended up getting a good deal in my own city.

interesting... i was talking with the internet saleswoman and she told me she would get back to me with a price for an 09 with tech package and she never called/emailed me back. her loss because i'm about to get the "genny" from alexandria hyundai this weekend...

Skip the "internet saleswoman" and ask to speak with someone on the floor who will actually sell you a physical car. I'll lay odds that they'll beat Alexandria Hyundai's price. Hope you haven't already paid. The dealerships are only 18 miles apart.

I've bought 4 Hyundais from Fairfax Hyundai in the past (1999 Tiburon, 2001 XG 300, 2004 XG 350L, 2009 Elantra) and have had great experiences with them on all purchases.

I frequent Fairfax Hyundai often for my routine maintenance on my 2013 Sonata. I actually purchased my 2nd Sonata second hand from Carmax, yet I'm still getting free oil changes at this location. Not sure if that's normal or not for second hand owner, but I appreciate it nonetheless.

Certainly awaiting the day (maybe a year or two?) until I can buy a Genesis from this location!
