  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I got new tires about 2 months ago (woohoo).

Starting 3 weeks ago the tire pressure sensor came on (not the TPMS light, but the other one)

I keep checking my tire pressure on all 4 corners, but everything looks good. What gives? Anyway to reset that sucker?

If all 4 tires have correct pressure, and they are maintaining the correct pressure over the course of a few days, then clear the TPMS light by disconnecting the neg battery terminal on the car for a few minutes (this resets everything).

If it still pops up take it to the dealer
Awesome. My dealer told me THEY HAD TO reprogram the car to see the new sensors, but I haven't tested mine yet as I bought them for the winter tires/rims and won't have them on until November. I really hope I just have to swap wheels and drive and it re-syncs itself! .
if nothing else take it to any firestone and they can reset the tpms sensors. its about $20
my understanding you just need to install and drive around and the car will see them.

I have sold probably close to 10 TPMS kits, and no one has reported back that they didnt work, so Im assuming they got them installed and just drove around.
"" This from another site talking about your problem not sure if they damaged your sensors when they changed your tires""
