  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

On September 15th, 2016 I traded in my 2011 4.6 sedan for the 2015 5.0 HTRAC. I bought the 2011 I believe in 2014 with ~23,000 KMS. Put a R2C CAI and MSA x pipe and deleted the mufflers, also threw on Silverline quad exhaust tips. I love the new car, went back and forth with the dealer for a week and on the day I signed the papers I still wasn't gonna get it hours beforehand. They gave me a second call on the same day and I got the car. Car was a demo and previously used by the president of Hyundai Canada, had 12,000 KMS.

I still have some videos of my 2011 I need to upload to my YouTube. They would be rev offs and 2 races between the 2011 4.6 and 2012 5.0 RSPEC. Both have exhaust done and R2C CAI. Link found in my signature.

My plans for the 2015 are to see if the MSA x pipe will fit for the 2015 or not and then do BBK Varitune mufflers. I really like the luxury aspect of the car and won't be doing muffler deletes. The BBK varitune is an adjustable muffler by hand and budget friendly as opposed to electronic cutouts.

I'll see if Ultra Racing has any strut tower bars or other cool bars for the 2015. And of course gonna rebadge it to a G80. May even change the front badge to the Genesis Motor Company one(I prefer the chrome look).

Congrats. Like the color..

Just curious how much you got it for. I bought my 2015 5.0L in North Vancouver back in Feb. It was also a dealer demo with 11,000 kms and they let me have it for $51k.

Yes, definitely replace that badge. :p I like one member's idea of keeping the "GENESIS" badge at the left and replacing the - well - in your case - that's a 5.0. Hmm... Not sure I'd want to lose that to the G80 badge... But anyway... That's a nice blue! I've never seen the blue before!! Wow, I really like it...

Congratulations!

Wow - 5.0 and AWD! The car is beautiful, but with Canadian gas prices, I hope you own stock in ExxonMobil.

I think I paid ~$47K. got a wheel and winter package and like $3500 cashback. A lot of numbers being thrown around LOL.

Nice looking ride! Congrat's!!
