  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

According to Inside Line, movie-goers should expect to see more tire-burning action from Hyundai's new Genesis Coupe than what's already been shown. It seems that the Korean car company has already sent Universal a bright red Genesis Coupe SE powered by the turbocharged four-cylinder engine. This news lends some credence to our opinion that the turbo mill will likely be the tuner's choice, though the big six cylinder is likely to be plenty for most drivers who don't want to modify their car. While we're not waiting on the edge of our seats for the fourth installment of the Fast and the Furious franchise, we think that it'll be pretty cool to see the Genesis Coupe alongside such performance-car stalwarts as the new Nissan GT-R and Subaru STI.

This is pretty impressive, actually.. That Hyundai has their car in this new movie. It may turn out to be corny, but a lot of eyes will be watching...

Nissan GT-R? Yeah, that's the new King.. So forget about it, Hyundai. Still, the Genesis Coupe is going to be the best bang for your buck...

I sure wished the Proto Motors(Korea's Supercar maker) hadn't got bankrupt. Which is like the only Korean car I loved. The hand-made lambo-doored super car with Mustang V8 320HP sports coupe sold for $70,000 in Korea(Rumor has it that, it never sold due to their finantial problem, and the fact that the company was sued because of the money), now owned by Oulim Motors. The new models made my Oulim Motors, though they are strictly for Drag, and Drift, doesn't look as pretty as the original. The shame.....

I wonder if Hyundai has contacted Proto's former employees..... I bet that have..

I am not sure about that. Proto Motors was a new company made up with around 6 individuals who had dreams of making the Korean Super Car. Spent 4 years(I think), and came out with the car called 'Spirra' in 2004, designed the platform themselves, and imported the Ford V8. Protomotors DID design some other cars for other Korean makes like Hyundai, Kia, and SsangYong, and modified some of the designs to create Limousine versions. But now, they've gone bust. Oulim Motors bought them as a whole and designed the New Spirra called Spirra GT, with 600HP version, and 700HP version, but personally, I prefer the Proto's version with 320HP, which looked better.

Well hopefully there's some influence in there somewhere for Hyundai. It seems they had a very good thing going for them (Proto Motors).
