  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

According to Inside Line, movie-goers should expect to see more tire-burning action from Hyundai's new Genesis Coupe than what's already been shown. It seems that the Korean car company has already sent Universal a bright red Genesis Coupe SE powered by the turbocharged four-cylinder engine. This news lends some credence to our opinion that the turbo mill will likely be the tuner's choice, though the big six cylinder is likely to be plenty for most drivers who don't want to modify their car. While we're not waiting on the edge of our seats for the fourth installment of the Fast and the Furious franchise, we think that it'll be pretty cool to see the Genesis Coupe alongside such performance-car stalwarts as the new Nissan GT-R and Subaru STI.

Will be interesting to see how they fair against so many well-known Japanese and Detroit muscles in the film. Besides, Hyundai have already been chewed down once on one of that film in the past.

HOW the Genesis turbo4 coup will do in the new film against the true Asian hotshots... will be... totally scripted. How it does, will be strictly up to the writer, and the director, and not its actual performance capability.

Good point. I hope they don't make it look bad.. What do you think they'll do?

I think they'll make some off the cuff joke about how "those Koreans sure do make a fast car these days" but in the end the competing driver in the Nissan Skyline or whatever souped up beast the main character is driving will win the race, save the girl, etc. Unless, of course, Hyundai is paying for the product placement, in which case, the Hyundai Genesis coupe will be the car the lead actor drives and will win all the races...

Don't get me wrong, F&F is still a bit entertaining to watch, but I think most of those movies are just huge product placement opportunities for advertisers.

Whoa! Dude.... you are one of those types of peeps that is hard to fool!

Yeah. Product placement is becoming one of the main reasons movies get made, these days.

Yes.... if Hyundai does pony up enough ponies for its own pony... it could easily scriptedly win the race... nicely setting up for F&F4, though... wherein da Setting Sun peeps take da trophy back... with vengeance.

I loved F&F1.... the 2nd wasted my bankroll.

Unfortunately the Genesis Coupe will NOT be in the new movie. Hyundai had a Coupe ready to go but at the last minute the car was pulled out of production.
