  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Bought my 2015 Ultimate in Nov 2018, 33,000 miles, for $26,000. Been leasing Infiniti from 2007 to 2018; the Genesis cost me $3500 more than my 39 month lease, so my break even point, ie, the car retaining at least $3500 in value, would be 39 months from when I bought it.

Good price.
I have missed out on the Ultimate features on my v8 5.0 MY2015, esp the HUD, for cost reasons. Bought that MY2015 new in 2015 (May), but the Ultimate was way more expensive (as a Seattle dealer was trying to get rid of the v8 sitting on the lot for a while, so they got me Circle-E employee pricing that essentially took off >12K from the MSRP of the car; essentially >22% off, that hopefully helped me weather the depreciation a bit. They would not apply that type of discount to a 3.8 Ultimate sitting there). So i missed out on the Ultimate features. One of these days...ah...

My 2015 5.0 Ultimate set me back a little over $26K in October 2018, but with more miles (53,000). However, it was CPO AND that includes getting the Platinum extended warranty.
