  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey Guys -

So, I rebadged my '11 black Gen, but one thing I feel, that all cars need is that little bit of "fender jewelry" - nothing extravagant, but something - especially a black or silver car.

For example, on my 95 Impala SS I had , I put the '62 crossed flag emblems on the front fender, on my Cadillac CTS I put just the Cadillac "badge", not the Wreath, on the fender, same place as the "V" badge. (some examples below)

I would love to put the "Wingless" Genesis Badge on the fender, but the only "fender" badge I see is the Prada badge -

Anyone have any ideas or source for wingless Genny Badges? Anyone have similar feelings?

Jerry

As far as feelings go, I am more of a clean fender look. I never have liked the signature badge that GM puts on all of their cars. Everyone's taste is different though. :)

hey Ruissimo -

Yeah, there's the trick - there's a fine line between classy and tacky - those are tacky, I am not talking going to Pep Boys and getting a $2 V6 badge to junk it up :) ......but I was wondering if anyone else ever did a fender badge - I guess nobody ever did -

Just seems a natural place to me for a little accent -

I had installed Lorisner badges on my 4.6 which looked great IMHO. I cannot count the times people were trying to read it. The cool thing is the way it is made/written it is almost impossible to read. Being debadged of Hyundai and being one of the nicest looking cars out there, people try to read the brand off the fender but can't really manage it. Had way too much fun with those so I will order a few more for the Rspec. Here you can kinda see it in my accident thread. http://genesisowners.com/hyundai-genesis-forum/showthread.php?t=9209

Hey Midnight -

That's what I mean! :) I like that - very nice - and I agree, it is just a nice accent - I would have been one of the same, trying to figure out what that meant

Instead of those badges... I think the 5.0 would look pretty in that same spot.

;)

Where can I buy replacement OEM emblems? Anyone?
