  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Just asking . I got a $10 quote per tire from BigOTires - seems high to me .
They told me multiple advantages of nitrogen over air ... google also lists them . At this moment i'm breathing 78% Nitrogen .

I have it in my 2015 and that's only because it came with it when we bought it. My local tire shop tops the tires off for free when I stop by.

No idea what good or bad it does but for me at least I don't seem to need adjust the pressure as much during the hot cold spells. They stay fairly steady pressure wise.

Do you think the mileage on the car is better with Nitrogen in the tires ?
Even if its slightly up ... spending $40 would justify .

My tires are filled with 78% nitrogen too. I'd not spend 10 cents a tire for it.

This is a fairly sensible article about it.

Total waste of money. Right up there with running premium for more horsepower. Nitrogen will do nothing for mileage. And... unless they pulled a vacuum and removed all the air after mounting, there's already a significant amount of air in there to start.
