  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Nice to see. Apparently the dealership I bought my 22 g70 from also had an option to build a separate Genesis dealership but didn't due to some red tape amongst other things. Would love to hear anyone who goes to this one or another. šŸ˜‰

Interesting and odd too. There are already other Genesis stand-alone stores in the USA, including the one 10 minutes from my house. Of course that one isn’t a brand new construction edifice. My local dealer is selling more used cars than new at the moment, though, due to supply chain issues.

By the way, the two ā€œnewā€ Genesis models in the Lafayette, Louisiana showroom photo look like a used BMW and, perhaps (?), a Hyundai Veloster.

I’m pretty sure the one on the left is an electric GV60. That would be pretty new.

Have you been to the stand alone one yet close by you? Curious to hear how it was if so.

Well, I have been wrong before. I recall once when…. 🤣

It’s an older Hyundai/Genesis dealership. The Hyundai portion moved two miles away and the old building is now exclusively Genesis for new car sales. They plan, they say, to construct a new Genesis building next to the new Hyundai location, so for now they are operating out of the older building. The only sign out front is Genesis.
