I think you're absolutely correct. In these two PDF documents (posted back in May):

It clearly states 12mo/7500mi.

Later, I found a PDF version of the owners manual (perhaps the one FlySwatter is referring to) that said 6mo/7500mi. So I posed a question on the board (I'm such a novice that I can't find it) as to which is correct per the written 2015 owners manual. Someone responded (believe it was PMCERNIE or Ernie3647) that it was 12mo/7500mi.

So now I'm still confused. I would think the written manual would be the "bible" and have precedence over other documents/PDF's.

And yes, Mark888, I'm mostly interested in this from a warranty standpoint. My Lexus IS250 has 6mo/7500mi and it's a pain in the butt/wallet to take it in every 6 months when you only drive 6000 miles per year.

Any further clarification would be appreciated.

It was me and my manual clearly states 12mo/7500mi.
It does differ from the PDFs.

I only clock about 8,000/yr, but my practice is to change the oil every 6 months. If you buy a $40,000 plus car, you should spoil it a bit, don't you think? That also keeps my dealer from forgetting who I am. Since they do know who I am, every so often I get a freebee there and I am very pleased about that. I just bought a second Hyundai, so my dealer must be doing something right.

Yes, that's why I use Mobil 1 synthetic motor oil. And I change it myself to make sure it is done correctly.

I’m an advocate to the “every 6 month” club also. My mileage per year is also low. I like the idea that every 6 months the car goes up and the under carriage is inspected. I’m past the point of getting under cars and I want it done. My dealer does do that I’ve seen it.

I don't get under my car either. I use a Mityvac 7300 PneumatiVac Air-Operated Fluid Evacuator (attached to my portable air compressor). It really sucks.

On my Genesis 3.8, the oil filter is on top of engine bay, so no need to get under the car.

If I drove my car every day, but accumulated less than 7500 miles within 6 months, I would change my oil every 6 months also. But I typically only drive my car once every 3 days on average and about 8000 miles per year. I change my oil about once every 5,000-6,000 miles with Mobil 1 synthetic, regardless of the number of months.

The one time I had the oil changed at the dealer, they did not use the Mobil 1 that I supplied (even though it was written on the work order to use the oil supplied by customer), so I changed it again when I got home. Never again.

My first car was a 1956 Mercury Montclair Phaeton. Always checked the under carriage. I really did love that car. Does that give you a good idea?

Alright, I went out to the car and got my physical documentation: the Owner's Manual, and the Maintenance Log. Both verify the 7500/6mo, 15000/12mos, 22,500/18mos (etc.) maintenance schedule. I would point out two things here.

1. Coincidentally, the 7500 mile interval also happens to match 12,000 Kilometer interval, which I wonder if anyone has confused with 12 months? It's a stretch, but it is kind of funny that the miles/KM conversation works out that way: 7,500/12,000, 15,000/24,000, and so on.

2. The Maintenance Log introduces an additional interval of 3750 miles for severe driving conditions, and those are indicated in red. Otherwise, the 7500 miles/6 mo interval is the same.

In your maintenance log you posted, the bottom item states "Add Fuel Additives". What fuel additives are they talking about? Is there a notation in the manual for what this is?

They are probably referring to Hyundai Fuel Injector Cleaner with Techron. It is identical to Chevron Fuel Injector Cleaner with Techron, which you can get at any auto-parts store (and usually Costco). Note that they say to use it only if a Top Tier gasoline is not available, although I use it about once per year anyway. See www.TopTiergas.com for a list of retailers and more details.
