  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi. Well my local dealer just got the 2015 Genesis in, so I'll be heading over today to give it a test drive:)

3.8 AWD with EVERY Option - $52,450.00

Good luck and keep us posted as to how you make out...

Well it turned out to be to short, and with the salesman who REALLY wanted me to get the car back.

First off, the car seemed to be going over tiny bumps the whole time? I pointed it out to the salesman who said "Oh, that's the road".?

I didn't have shit for time to play around with the radio, Nav or anything. I did try to speak my home address into the system, and it screwed it up horribly, and not once but 4 times?

I will try to take another test drive at another dealership, in hopes that they let me take it out for awhile.

The model I drove was a fully loaded AWD, Black on Black. It seemed reasonably comfortable, but again, it was WAY to short a test drive to really know how I'd feel owning the car.

As for the looks, fit and finish, that is real nice. The back seats seem Very Comfortable and roomy.

The Heads-up display in the windshield is Outstanding. It very clear, crisp and easy to read, and displays a lot of info., including a speed limit sign, traffic lanes and more. The speed limit sign shows up on the dash panel as well as the Nv screen.

I will be looking for a longer test drive soon.

The had it priced right at the pricing you get online, while another dealer had one in their showroom, that they we're Discounting $4,000.00!. It was a RWD model Black / Black with the first 2 packages added. $44,950.00 instead of $48.950.00. Damn I wish it was Brown / Brown. Or maybe I'm glad its not Brown / Brown as that would make it REALLY hard to not own it already:)

Thanks for the updated. Sounds like you got a crappy salesman. Was there other people in the lot at the same time looking at the car and that was why he rushed your test drive?

Keep us updated as you test them out.

Nope, I was there only one there. I'm not a young man, and I have been a business owner for over 30 years and look the part:)

I pulled up in a new Toyota Avalon, cleaned and polished. I'm thinking he might not have been a salesman very long, but I felt the dealership was a bit careful on who they let test drive and how long the test drive is.

I will say, I haven't had a salesman go with me on a test drive for none of the past 6 or so cars. I was bit surprised when he got in the car.

Again, I won't have pushed it, but I would have been gone more then (4 miles) or 10 minutes, and I would have pulled over to check things out.

As for the Nav, while it was very nice to speak the whole address at one shot, it wasn't nice at how bad it screwed it up, not even close?
