Flaking headlights and warped weatherstrips?

Hey everyone. I've had my Genesis for about 20 months (2016 w/ 16.3k miles
) and the problems with it are endless. My latest problems are with the headlights and weatherstrips. Should these be covered under warranty? My car is parked in the sun for about 5-6 hours a day, 5 days a week but I mean I've had cars that I've owned for 8+ years that didn't have this kind of weak wear.

1. Weatherstrips.
They're starting to warp and create bumps along the side. I noticed it when I opened the door one day and just opening the door almost took it off. 3 out of 4 doors weatherstrips are warping.

2. Headlights.
No matter how often I washed the car I noticed this weird purple tinge on the top of my headlights that would constantly reappear. I kind of ignored it until recently when I inspected it closer and noticed that the clear coat on the outside or whatever it may be is flaking and chipping off both headlights on the same area.

same with my headlights as well as the weatherstrip as well! I've seen many local people that i asked about the weather strip, and most of them have the same problem!

I have that issue with the weather seal on the passenger side.

How difficult was it to get them replaced under warranty? Was there any convincing required or were they replaced no questions asked? After reading this thread I see some flaking on mine. On the passenger side more than the driver side.

on my next Oil change i will ask about the weather strip, and see what they tell me.
