  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

2009 Genesis Sedan 4.6 . Flasher and turn signals stopped working. No flasher relay on this car ... apparently coupes have one under dash, but not sedans. Any one had this problem and found solution? Grateful for any guidance.

Hello. So from what I read the early Genesis did not have flasher relay (maybe just the 4.6, I can't remember). It sounds crazy but here's what fixed my flasher issue.. There's a fuse box on passenger side of engine bay, up by firewall. There's a cartridge in that fuse box about the size of an old Nintendo cartridge. Please see pictures. I removed that cartridge, blew the area out with compressor, and reinstalled cartridge. I may have removed the battery cables from battery in the trunk before I did this, just to be safe. I can't remember. This fixed my flasher problem. I pray to God it will help you. In Jesus name.

Hello,
I have a 2012 Genesis Sedan that has the hazards blinking continually and draining battery. Should I replace the relay or use compressor?

Sorry I don't know. I only can tell you what I did which happened to work. I removed the cartridge (FAM), blew out the area, and replaced cartridge... then no more flasher issues.

Okay I’ll give it a try.
