Flickering Headlights

For the first time, my headlights went off for about 2 seconds on 2 different occasions and then came back on this morning on a dark road- very scary!!!! Any ideas??

Sub'd. Normally flickering headlights is a ballast or voltage issue. Want to know the answer to this as well ha

If it's both headlights, I doubt it's anything with the H.I.D. bulb or ballasts since there are present at each headlight. Most likely the headlight switch, relay, or something along those lines. Possibly a weak common ground...
