Florida to Wisconsin and back MPG

Just got back after approx 2800 mile trip in the 2012 4.6. Averaged about 27.5
for the trip.

Last 245 miles out of Atlanta on southbound I-75:

impressive, what following distance do you use? I generally use two...I think one will give me a heart attack

Mainly one. I've had idiots cut in front at freeway speed on two.

At speed on the highway I use 1 also. Even then the 80 empty feet is too much for cutters to resist.
I just wish the cars came with message boards in back:
"My cruise is set at 80 MPH...when safe to do so, this car will resume that speed. For now, please get out of my trunk".

I use one in the summer and I try to use two in the winter.

my last tank of gas in mixed driving - got 18.2 when i calculated it myself vs. the 20.7 the trip computer showed.
