  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hello all. I'm in need of help. I'm fuggin desperate. I have a 2012 gensis 3.8 sedan. I have an a8lr1 transmission going in that I got from lkq.

I really need the front fluid pump seal aka torque converter seal. Hyundai said it's discontinued and I have to buy the fluid pump assembly for $1100.00. That's not an option. The lookup at O'Reilly and napa come up with a national seal 224663. This is the wrong seal. The diameter is too big. I've called everywhere and can get nothing. This 15 dollar seal is stopping me from installing my.transmission.

Thanks.

Bump. There's no way I have to buy a fluid pump for 1100 dollars for a 21 dollar seal.

None of these work?

HYUNDAI 213553C510 shows in stock. Ebay has some as well?

Not sure if the 3.8 and 4.6 have the same water pump, this is the 4.6 manual:
