  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I tried to do a search first but didn't find any information on it or missed it...

Is there a way to make the Key Fob not unlock all the doors when using it to unfold the mirrors? It seems to me their software engineers would have simple things like this figured out by now, one long key press of the lock/unlock should activate this feature. Thanks in advance for your replies :)

LOL....I guess I'm the only one bothered by this

Not sure why you want it, but why not just unlock with key fob which will unfold mirrors and then lock again with only one press of key fob lock button? This will leave the car locked and the mirrors unfolded.

OP, why not just unfold the mirrors when you get into the car ???? Think outside the box.

I'm just saying if it's going to be on the Fob at all then it should work logically from a safety/technology standpoint and not unlock all the doors, I know they can be operated from inside of the vehicle.

^Have you converted your FOB to unlock just the driver's door? What was the result of that? I believe that is a DIS controlled setting in the Tech package.
