  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Interesting article. It looks to be yet another way to save gas...

You know, I have one simple request. And that is to have sharks with frickin' laser beams attached to their heads! Now evidently my cycloptic colleague informs me that that cannot be done. Ah, would you remind me what I pay you people for, honestly? Throw me a bone here! What do we have?

That's really, really cool... now that you think of it, why hasn't this been done before? Hasn't the basic technology been around for quite a while?

It's a lot harder than it seems on the surface. We tried from 1975 thru 1980 and could not put together a cost effective viable system. Many thins have changed since then I know however it is still a tough nut to beat out the good old cheap spark plug / coil system. They make that so cheap and long lasting it blows your socks off. So congrats to Ford Motor Research and Auto-Lite if they can pull it off.
