Any chance of making separate sub forums for the 1st and 2nd GEN models? Meaning Appearance and modification section for each model? I posted something not to long ago and someone said it was the 1st gen section.. seems to be confusing

This will get confusing as things progress. What will the Genesis brand G80 be classified as? A Gen 2 or something else? What about the other new releases for the Genesis brand as they appear? Right now we are sort of going by model year to determine the section and the members here have coined the latest generation the Gen2. Do not really think this name exists to be honest with you.

I believe we will end up with "G" sections in the "Genesis Motors Forum" as we already have a G90 section. Problem is the Gen2 is the exact same car as the G80 from what I have read so at one point we need to combine this or change our ways. Maybe migrate the Gen2 section into the G80 section with mention of this in the description is the best bet. Otherwise information pertaining to both cars will be in 2 sections.

Right now we have "prefixes" to help with this. For example, if you start a topic in the Appearance Modification forum - you can select "First Generation" or "Second Generation" from a drop-down menu while you're posting.

We do have a "Genesis Motors" section (as mentioned) and we'll be having G80 discussions in that area -- however -- there's really no easy way to combine everything cleanly in the situation we're in where the second generation Genesis Sedan is basically the same car as the first generation G80. So we're going to need to refer to the Genesis Sedan section from time to time - for the time being. Eventually the G80 will be an entirely different car from the Genesis Sedan...
