  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

To Admin,

I would like to make a suggestion.

Alternatively to having to search for every bit of solid information we start establishing some baselines of information and create either a FAQ forum or sticky's in the appropriate locations.

In example, OEM wheel offset, if you google search for a reliable answer to what the actual offset is you find conflicting information which can be frustrating and detrimental to one's wallet.

I would also suggest that once this information is gathered, confirmed, and posted that you lock the threads from unnecessary comments or replies.

I think that this would be a huge service to the community and provide a great wealth of solid factual information.

I would gladly help in anyway possible and donate to the forum.

I'm not sure what would be better - a separate FAQ forum or stickies in specific areas (maybe too crowded?). But I'm all for making information easy to find. So lets discuss this further. :)

I'm copying a post I made in another thread to support Tampa Gen's idea:

I understand what Tampa_Gen_13 is saying here. It's silly that I have to rely exclusively on Google to search this site because the built in search is so poor. Having a sticky with confirmed details like certain specifications would be very beneficial as even with a Google search its easy to come across conflicting information. This means that some tasks turn into guesswork as I look at multiple threads/posts on the same topic and have to derive the correct answer from 4 different ones based on which one has the most consensus.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
How about a FAQ forum. When pertinent information is discovered revealed it could be posted there and locked.

I would start with the basics such as wheel specifications, curb weights, part numbers, interchange-ability, basically anything that can be verified as a fact.

Hi all -

I am with Hyundai Genesis on this. Lets keep the discussion going to see which people would prefer. I have stickied a few things in the 2015 forum yesterday as I find them helpful but could certainly move a bit into a FAQ if that is most popular. Lets keep it going and we will work out a solution together :)
