  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hmm....interesting, but I couldn't find nothing on K&N website. Unless its custom made with K&N cons added. It looks good, though.

couldn't find anything either on KN... custom for sure

Pretty cool. No heat shields though. I don't know if I would do another CAI setup on a Genesis. Like some members removed their R2C CAI and reverted back to the stock airbox.

They will be useless in V8 Genesis. Too much heat. Just do drop in K&N.

Agreed. That's what I did.

Any gains? Little to none. Do I care, nah.

i was thinking that.. I've done that to almost all my cars... Deciding if its worth almost $100...

just a quick update.. The owner of that video in post one finally repsonded to me.. He bought the parts at Amazon...

here was a quick result on Amazon...

still need to locate the extension pipes but you get the idea.... Looks like it can be done... May pursue this after the holidays

Interesting. Personally for me I'd need heat shields but that might be a little too DIY for me perhaps. Eh I dunno but now that you bring this up an AI setup is feasible.
