  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Front bumper gap?

Thanks for this thread as it was very informative. Does anyone know if water entry into this particular gap would cause electric issues with the headlamps? I am totally fine with the gap if it's purely cosmetic (I observed it on mine recently and noticed the flex when I pressed down on it). I wasn't sure if these headlight units were sealed.
I don't believe you'll have any issues with water. I use a pressure washer to wash my car and haven't had any issues.

Gap wasn’t there when I picked the car up last week but here I am looking at it. I don’t understand lol.

Had to have bumper cover removed and replaced to facilitate a minor repair. Shop did super job on repair but out of curiosity and never having done this before, ran my hand over the top of both headlights where plastic bumper cover meets same and noticed a gap between bumper cover and headlight on one side. Again never checked so could have always been there. May feel like a fool taking it back to shop having read this thread.
