Front Bumper - Paint Damage / Curb Rash - Body kit?

So, I bought the car knowing this had some damage down on the bumper from someone parking into a curb. it's going to happen, not even sure if it's worth fixing and I doubt the dealer (not a Hyundai or Genesis) is going to get a decent job from their paint guy. I've tried to do some searching but not sure if I'm looking in the right places.

I did find a "lip kit" - Security Check

Unfortunately, I've had extensive experience with repairing front bumper damage on G80/Genesis vehicles. I've replaced the front bumper on my 2011 Hyundai Genesis 3.8 twice, repaired road rash and replaced the bumper on my G80. Some was my fault (ran over a sewer cover in a field), some others (repair shop ran car into lift) and lastly just bad luck (couldn't avoid running over blown semi truck tire/"gator" at 70MPH).

Front bumper replacements at my local Hyundai dealer was less than expected ($800-$1,000 USD). Dealer said they were going to start keeping front bumpers in stock just for me .

G80 was delivered with road rash (Dealerership owner drove it for 5k miles). They repaired perfectly it using plastic "welding" at no cost to me. Paint work on the repair was less than satisfactory though. Fortunately/unfortunately I had the bumper replaced 1 year later (see sewer cover above ).

It's not clear if the "Lip Kit" would hide/cover the existing damage. I've never used this type of stuff before.

I'd try plastic weld/re-paint repair first as a lower cost solution then if if it still bothers you go with bumper replacement

A lip kit would only make the front more vulnerable to damage IMO, due to being lower, and sticking further out. Therefore, I'd just fix it. Most cars are going to have that kind of damage (except for the few of us who are super careful), so I'd just do what I did to my wife's (and daughters') car, which was to touch it up. It's not noticeable at all at that distance, unless you get on your knees. If you're sure it won't happen again to you, then I'd definitely fix it right, since I'm on the 'anal side'. Ha ha. I have some damage to my 2015 Genesis on the lower front bumper and also noticeable discoloration (or loss) of the clear coat on the rear "finishing panel" (i.e. across the full width of the lip of the trunk, below the license plate ) as seen in attached photos. (Insurance likely won't cover the discoloration issue, and with a $500 deductible, it's probably not worth making a claim if it's only going to cover the bumper damage.) I got 3 repair estimates - the lowest is $2,200. I plan to buy a 2021 G80 when they go on sale later this year. Wondering which of these 3 choices is likely going to be my best/smartest option cost-wise: 1) repair the car, as per estimate, before I either trade it in or sell it privately; 2) sell it privately as is; or 3) trade it in, as is. Any thoughts/advice?

There are also some people that do simple body work like that for cheap. Certainly not as good as the $2200 shop but acceptable on a car to be traded.
