  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Does anyone know of a website that will show me how to do this? I've done a search, and have found couple threads, but none that would show me where each and every bolt/clip is. Spent couple hours the other day, but came up a few clips/bolts shy of taking the bumper off. Or maybe directions that I could DL? I've tried the HyundaiTechInfo website, but i've read that site isn't "mac friendly". Any help or insight would be appreciated. Mahalo.

In my sig is a link (still not mac friendly).

The thing that is tricky about removing the front bumper is that after all of the clips/bolts are removed, it is still held in pretty tight by retention clips. If you pull from the wheel wells, the clips should let go and the bumper will fall in your hand.

Hope this helps

Thank you for the response. The bolts near the radiator/headlights, tire wells, and skip plate, i found. Once those were removed, only the bumper area near the tire wells becomes a bit loose. Yet, the front still won't even budge. Do you know of any clips near the front/radiator area of the car is? Another member sent me the user manual which showed me the schematics of the bumper area. It's jus a bit too confusing for me to understand. plus, I dont think they show any areas of where the clips are.

Sorry, but that's my problem. I can't find any clips. Could you give me a better location of where the clips that you speak of are? I'm guessing that's what still hold the bumper up.

Why keep banging your head against the wall?
Just talk to someone in a body shop or the body shop at the dealers.
I’m sure you can get the information you need from them, that’s what they do for a living.

Southern, I already asked a service tech at my local dealership. He was unhelpful, to say the least. I was told to "look online". He then told me he'd email me some information once he looked it up. 3 weeks later, nothing. Hence me finally asking here. I already spent $144+ at the dealership to remove my headlights. I'd like to save $144+, and reinstall the headlights myself. Aloha.
