Hey everyone,
So I ran into an issue the other day where a tire kicked up from the road and busted my left headlight. While this doesn't seem all that terrible it was going to cost $1700 to fix. I decided that I would take a crack at replacing the headlight myself for around $500 and pocket the remaining $1200 from insurance. As I was doing this I would have loved to have had a video or guide on how to remove the front bumper and headlight because while I consider myself mechanically inclined, I have never worked on my car before.
At this point I have already replaced the headlight, and I have to say it was WAY easier than I expected and only took an hour. Unfortunately, I ran into a problem where the 2015 headlight does not function properly in the 2016 genesis due to an added high side DRL pin. Moral of the story is... I have to replace the light again and would be happy to make a video/guide on how to do this, as I am comfortable with doing it now.
Let me know if y'all would like to see a guide on this! If there is any sort of demand at all I will take the time to create something.
