  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey

On my first trip managed to shatter the front camera from a pebble on the road
Anyone know the part number for the front parking assisted camera for a 2020 model? or can point me in the right direction?

Tnx

Depending on your insurance. If you have full glass coverage it should be covered. Most companies all glass on the car is covered. This includes headlamps, turn signal, mirrors, & cameras.

My deductible is probably more then the camera itself

My deductible would be higher than the camera price

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Perhaps this is what you are looking for:

The site says it is discontinued. Maybe you can order through your dealer.

If you have zero deductible full glass then you would of course pay $0.00 but not if you just have comprehensive with a ded.

The camera is not considered "GLASS". I had a couple claims on these prior to retirement. At least one of the major companies, the one I worked for, does not cover a camera or mirror under the glass section of comprehensive.
Also the state you live in has rules on glass coverage. In Florida only the windshield is a non-deductible install, all other glass is covered but does cost your comprehensive deductible. Personally I have $0.00 Deductible on Comp, always since started driving have had no deductible so this would be a covered 100% loss for me, check your policy.
The cost of a the camera on a G80 exceeds $500 plus labor and that is ONLY the camera. Don't know the cost of a G70 one.

It seems it's not going to be cheap, will call the dealer tomorrow to verify the part number and replacement cost.
In the meantime, I have found this on the web:
Webcam

Just need to know if its relatively replaceable by a home mechanic

I work for AmFam and here in AZ all glass and lamps are covered on the full replacement with a zero ded.
