  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

sharing photos my way of mounting front license plate on my G70.
I tried installing on the side at tow hook but i didnt like it, so i installed it in the center with zip ties.
showing in photo, i used 2 strong zip ties to hold the bracket with the lower grill.(shown in photo). license plate bracket
then mount plate with 4 zip ties on the bracket. didnt use screws because screws was rubbing with the bumper.

hope it will help someone

It’s such a nice car and really deserves something that looks better...hope this is only temporary?

If anyone needs an OE front mount, I have new never used. I will give for shipping cost + paypal fee.

What are the other options for installing the front plate.?
Do anybody have photos of finished look?

Definitely not permanent. It's going to be there until I find a better alternative

Cruise terminal. Shipped out from there last June.

I got pulled over within couple days of getting my car. So I quickly put the plate with zip ties. I do not like the plate on grill. I mount a frame around the plate which look a lot better now. No more ugly zip tie.

Agree with you pulsar. But this is totally matter of choice. Don't want any ticket and this is my daily car.
Blue look dope

I’ve never run front plates and only been hassled once way back in high school. Have found as I got older, was never an issue. I do keep the plate within reach so if I see lights behind me the plate will be upon my dash before the cop gets to me. Some smooth talking about front plate mount got broke and new one is being shipped from Korea should avert a ticket unless the cop is just a prixk.

Are you guys saying that Genesis doesn't make or provide a front license plate bracket for the G70?

For those of us that need to have front plates, this bracket is pretty nice and doesn't require drilling holes in the front of the bumper. It's very adjustable and I've used it on two cars so far, although I haven't tried it on the G70.

Of course the front plate is still ugly.

Genesis provide a plastic bracket which goes on the center of the grill under radar. You need to screw the bracket on the plastic behind grill.

The OEM license plate bracket is the best option.

1995-2000 Chevrolet Tahoe License Plate Bracket - Front - Action Crash GM1068101

is this the correct one for the G70 and the one @BHANGU_G70 used?

You can use any plastic bracket @hrmneyezin. I used this BACK PLATE for my car. This bracket goes on the tow hook but i didnt like it there so i mount it on the lower grill. I only used the the plate
I put some soft tape on the back side of the back plate to avoid strach on the bumper. Then mount the back plate with strong zip ties to the lower grill. I add the plate frame and screws. Also used the screw caps to hide bolts. Everything in black color look great.
