  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

No appreciation for classic tv. My guess is that Bo or Luke Duke (Dukes of Hazzard), Mike Brady (Brady Bunch), Fred Sanford (Sanford & Son), or Arnold and Willis Jackson (Different Strokes) don't ring a bell, either. Shame.

It never feels like much of a shame for anyone other than the oldest guy in the boat! I'm sure when the rest of us get older we'll be saying the same thing to younger folks about Seinfeld, Breaking Bad, Mad Men, etc.

Are those TV shows? I don't think I get them, maybe I better adjust my rabbit ears. . .

Doc ;)

Is this you :p

Yep, that's me, with my new Daisy BB gun.

I had a Crosman. My dad did teach me how to shoot a gun properly. Was a menace in my backyard shooting up plastic McDonald's happy meal toys.

Perhaps Seinfeld. But the other two are not on free TV and are not "clean", so probably won't count towards classic TV. Though Breaking Bad is awesome.

Hate to get back on topic, but I had one made from http://www.moweraxle.com/ a few years ago (for a 2011 3.8). It was the first for Genesis sedan he had made, so he had me take pictures and measurements with the tow-hook installed and I sent him the tow-hook for a few days to make sure the mounting/threading was correct. It worked perfectly and looked great, and kept me from drilling holes in my new car's front bumper.

Interesting! I don't see our model listed on his site though, would probably have to be another custom job.

I ended up getting this one: http://skenedesign.com/FPBracket/index.shtml

It sucks. The only real place to mount it on the Genesis is all the way at the bottom and even if you're as careful as you can be there WILL be a time when it scrapes along asphalt or curbs. I'm removing it soon and buying a tow hook one that will only go on when I park on the street.
