Front parking assist

Mine stays on 24/7. I first hit the button after I bought the car and it remains on without any more input from me. I wish they did that with the Drive Mode & Auto Hold Buttons.

I depend on my front end parking assist to let me know when my car is far wrought forward in my garage. Problem is it is intermittent, and seems to only work about half the time. Anyone else experience this strange behavior.

How close do you want to be? Could it be you are near the maximum range where you want to stop? I wonder if it is not sensing whatever the material your garage wall is made from on a consistent basis. I'd try putting some foil or something dense to see if it picks it up better.

My Ultimate 2015 front parking assist does not beep even if I'm 10" away. The manual states 35" I think. I have the parking assist turned on and the back and side assist seem to work fine. Has anyone had to have theirs repaired?

Something wrong. Could be the sensors gone bad.

I've noticed that if I put the car into reverse then pull forward then the front sensor works fine. Is anyone else having these same issues.

Weird. Mine stays on all the time. The only false alarms that I get is that it occasionally beeps in traffic when I'm not even that close to anything.

Look around you. Ford, Tesla, I think Jaguar and a few others will set them off. You don't have to be in the normal range.

Agreed! Ford and Lincoln vehicles set off the parking sensors nearly 100% of the time when I am around one at a stop.

Look around you. Ford, Tesla, I think Jaguar and a few others will set them off. You don't have to be in the normal range.

Tell you what else will set them off. My foot. If I'm outside when my wife pulls in the garage I'll stick my foot out towards the bumper while staring at her with a sh*t eating grin. Pisses her off to no end. Marriage is a beautiful thing.
