front passenger seat belt clip too low

My wife is constantly complaining that the passenger side seat belt clip (the part that you insert the seat belt buckle into) is too low. She is worried that wedging her hand and fingers down into the narrow space between the transmission tunnel and the seat might damage her wedding ring. I checked and the driver side clip is mounted much higher than the passenger side clip.

Does anyone know if the passenger clip can be mounted higher?

Ditto. My wife complains about that all the time as well. Her rings have scratched the sides of the console trying to connect it.

Use left hand instead of right to latch and unlatch belt. Simple enough. Put latch in left hand while pulling top shoulder section with right hand. I do it all the time.

The younger generations have moved those rings off their fingers and onto noses, ears, lips, eyebrows and genitals. They may look freakish, but at least they don't scratch their car consoles.

Make sure you get the rigid extender. I bought a 7" extender which will pop out above the heaviest winter coat. I bought directly from Seatbelt Pros, so selection of the correct extender was not an issue.

Regardless of which extender you choose (I found a pair available in three different color choices on Amazon for $40.00 that I'm happy with) keep in mind that there is a driver and passenger side to these extenders. You want the red release buttons on the extenders to be in the same location as the factory buckles - release buttons near the console).
